From his classical piano, choir, opera, and music theory beginnings in suburban south Orange County to his massive indie rock performances after COVID quarantine and college, Adin Boyer is no stranger to living a life fully devoted to music, and discovering himself entirely through music.

REGROUP TOUR MINIVLOG NO. 31 - Predictable and Unpredictable Surprises! I have the French TV show “Astrid” to thank for instilling this categorization in my brain, and it’s made ALL the difference. Granted, it’s hard to “expect the unexpected” when you can’t always identify the potential “unexpected” ahead of time. Redirection and anxiety-relief techniques I’ve worked on for years help me out most of the time after these surprises, and I’m so happy they did here. 💜 It takes practice, but if you’re like me it could very well pay off.

This one feels appropriate to perform right now. I’m completely safe and smoke-free down here at my home in Orange County 1.5 hours away from LA, but my heart is absolutely breaking for my friends up north and countless friends of theirs who have lost their homes.

I wrote “Brushfire” during my second wildfire evacuation in a three-month span in later 2020 down here in south OC, at the height of the COVID pandemic; when I (and certainly many others) felt so isolated. I’m no stranger to frequent wildfires in my lifetime, but I definitely am to this degree of damage up north in my future home of Los Angeles; a place I commute to several times a month; a place that has been my absolute safe haven…

Keep on donating and volunteering time, money, energy, anything; keep checking in with your folks during this rough time. The SoCal spirit will never die. ❤️🎶🤘🏻
